Bringing nature into the classroom
Bio Forest educational visits will introduce children, families and community groups to reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, plants and bioactive ecosystems through engaging, welfare-led sessions.
Our team will travel to the school, venue or event. Visitors are never brought to the private Bio Forest animal premises.
What we will offer
- School and nursery visits.
- Community groups and youth organisations.
- Summer fairs and public events.
- Educational animal talks.
- Bioactive ecosystem demonstrations.
- Supervised animal encounters where appropriate.
- Invertebrate and clean-up crew sessions.
- Plant, rainforest and habitat education.
- Question-and-answer sessions.
What happens during a visit?
Each session will be adapted to the age group, venue and available time. A visit may include meeting selected reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates, learning how animals survive, discovering how clean-up crew supports ecosystems, discussing responsible pet ownership and asking questions.
Welfare comes first
Animals will only take part where the environment, temperature, journey and session are suitable. Bio Forest may change or remove an animal from a session if there is any welfare concern. Handling will never be forced, and some animals may be display-only.
