Welfare-led animal education at your location
Bio Forest is preparing reptile, amphibian and invertebrate experiences for schools, nurseries, colleges, community groups, private parties, care settings, venues and public events.
Educational Animal Experiences
Sessions will introduce guests to a range of animals while exploring habitats, behaviour, adaptations, diets, biodiversity, conservation and responsible animal care. Experiences may include educational talks, animal demonstrations and supervised interaction where appropriate.
The animals included in each session will depend on their welfare needs, the venue, weather conditions, journey time and the type of booking.
Sessions Tailored to the Group
- The age and needs of attendees.
- The expected group size and available supervision.
- The venue size, access, parking and environmental conditions.
- The educational topic or event format.
- Accessibility and SEND requirements shared by the organiser.
- Animal welfare, handling suitability and required rest periods.
Animal Welfare
Animal welfare is central to every Bio Forest experience. Animals will only attend when travel, temperature, venue and session conditions are suitable. Bio Forest may substitute or withdraw an animal whenever attendance would not be in its best interests.
Handling will always be supervised and will only take place where appropriate for the individual animal and audience. Some animals, including fragile amphibians, may be display-only.
Safety and Professional Standards
Bio Forest is fully insured, and relevant team members hold current DBS checks. Sessions will be supported by appropriate risk assessments, hygiene procedures, responsible supervision and welfare controls.
Copies of relevant insurance information, DBS confirmation and risk-assessment documentation can be provided to schools, venues and event organisers during the booking process.
Any animal exhibition licence required for the activities offered will be in place before paid bookings open and experiences begin.
Experiences Take Place at Your Venue
Bio Forest travels to the organiser’s agreed school, venue or event location. Sessions do not take place at the private animal premises.
The private animal premises are strictly closed to the public, with no customer visits, collections or on-site experiences available.
